My coaching practice is anchored in the rigor of my PhD in neuroplasticity. My research and continued learning about how the brain integrate knowledge and emotions to address the chasm between intention and action is a core differentiator between my coaching approach and that of other coaching practitioners.
Whether in individual or group coaching sessions, I help create a safe space for your to explore your limiting beliefs by digging deeper in how your experiences and education have shaped your unconscious biases and your definition of success. I leverage insights from neuroscience, behavioral economics and strength-based motivational psychology to help you clarify and make progress towards your own definition of success.
I am passionate about helping coaching clients as they clarify what is important to them and how to put their purpose to grow as professionals and community leaders. I particularly enjoy coaching leaders as they:
- Clarify their unique strengths fuel their professional and personal goals
- Leverage their knowledge and emotional intelligence to reach peak performance and impact at work and in life
- Compete for new job opportunities or promotion by sharpening their elevator pitch, revamp their resumes and cover letters, as well as hone in on their interviewing skills.
- Diversify their revenue streams through consulting, or side gigs
- Set up and growth their own venture

PhD Career Coaching
For PhD students or professionals who want to explore how to turn their PhD skills and knowledge into an industry career across the private, non-profit, government or multilateral sector in industries such as tech, consulting, impact investing, international development, life science, global education, or global health.
My 15 years of experience in translating cognitive neuroscience insights into transformational coaching outcomes have enabled me to support working professionals as well as students from top institutions (e.g. Georgetown University, Brown University, UT Austin, Columbia SIPA, Indiana Kelley and SPEA).
Whether you don’t know what you want to do, or want tips on how to fast track your career, my coaching approach will help you clarify and make measurable progress towards your own unique personal and professional goals, whether your goals are more strategic (e.g. overcoming outdated beliefs, facing and overcoming fears, clarify their skills, values, purpose, and mission) or tactical (e.g. resume writing, cover letter tailoring, how to use the 1.2M LinkedIn groups and core twitter hashtags to uncover the hidden market of career opportunities, interview practice, what to send as an initial networking letter, what to say during your salary negotiation or your annual review).
Currently, I serve as a Career Coach at the Georgetown School of Foreign Service (SFS), where I coach alumni and graduate students, design and deploy innovative workshops, as well as lead the growth of the SFS Career Portal to support students and alumni as they clarify their skills and career goals, sharpen their networking skills, optimize their resume, cover letters, and interviewing skills as well as successfully negotiate their salary and next promotion in a variety of fields such as impact investing, corporate social responsibility, security and intelligence, global education, international development, environmental conservation, gender violence, global health, think tanks, government affairs, tech, and careers at multi-laterals.
To best support my coaching clients, I blend my PhD knowledge about how the brain integrate knowledge and emotions to influence your thoughts and actions with the insights I have gained through training programs focused on strategic coaching and strength-based learning science. For example, I have completed the 120H Coaching de Gestion Certified Professional Coach training and is currently earning her coaching hours to finalize her Professional Certified Coach (PCC) certification with the International Coaching Federation (ICF).
In addition, as a Gallup-certified Strength coach, I am focused on helping my clients get a deeper understanding on how their unique combinations of strengths can help fuel their success and commitment to the change they want to see in the world. I have also been trained in interpreting a number of other leadership assessments, including Career Leader, the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), the Strong Interest Inventory (SII), and the Emotional Quotient Inventory (EQi).
